This was the first time we had our company's Christmas party at the Salem Convention Center. From our initial tour of the venue, we were very impressed with the look of the space. The pricing was very reasonable for all the services we received and we were given many options from food choices to decorations ! I worked with two wonderful ladies, Soraida and Sara to get the venue booked and all arrangements made for our party. The week of the event Sara was out sick and a third lady, Theresa, stepped in to get our needs met which was just wonderful! When we arrived at the space it was all set up and beautifully done so. The monitors outside our room displayed the name of our company and the event. The staff was wonderful and gave great service from the wait staff to the bartenders. I even had one gentleman check in with me at the beginning of the event to make sure everything was satisfactory and that there wasn't anything else we were in need of.
Only one little hiccup for the evening which was quickly taken care of. The week of the event we switched from one of the smaller rooms to a larger room that had yet to be booked. The night of the party, signs posted on the first floor of the center to show which events were being held in which rooms was never changed to the new room, so we had guests sitting outside the wrong room trying to figure out why they couldn't get in for the party. As soon as we found out about this we alerted the staff and they got it changed to the correct room.
Great night at a great place!! We would love to come back next year!!
